The Rose’s event of the year
Thursday 6th - Monday 10th November 2025
2, 3 or 4 nights, first and last nights optional
Our event at a new venue last year was very popular and we will be using the ThreeWays Hotel in the Cotswolds again this year. The hotel has lots of character and is situated in the heart of the lovely village of Mickleton, Gloucestershire, in the beautiful Cotswold countryside. It is just 3 miles from Chipping Campden, 10 from Evesham, and 27 miles from Cheltenham.
The Three Ways House Hotel is famous for its 'Pudding Club' which began in 1985 to preserve the Great British Pudding. One of our evenings will be a special event starting with a glass of Bucks Fizz and a jovial introduction by The Pudding Master followed by a light main course and then the Parade of Seven Traditional Puddings, with all its noise and ceremony. The aim being to taste them all and then to vote for your favourite pudding of the night over coffee. Guests will each receive a certificate!
Besides the above we hope to have all our usual happenings, including:
-
‘Miss Rose of the Year’ Parade
-
Trade stands throughout Saturday
-
Swop Shop - Bring one item, take one
-
Fun Quiz
-
Raffle with proceeds as gratuity for hotel staff
-
Free parking
Public Rooms:
There are several public rooms including a large restaurant, The Terrace Suite (picture here), where we will have our evening entertainments and disco, close by is a lounge with bar (photo above), and a bistro near reception where lunches are served. There is also a room where our traders will be attending on the Saturday.
Bedrooms:
All bedrooms are located on the ground, first and second floors (lift available) and are en-suite with shower and/or bath. Many of the rooms in each category except small double can be used as twins.
There is a quirky feature Chocolate theme room and some of the ground floor rooms have an outside private patio garden area.
Superior rooms: have more space with comfy seating areas and views over the village or garden. In addition to the standard room items, they come with bathrobes, Nespresso coffee machines and still and sparkling water. Two of the superior twin rooms can be used as family rooms, one having additional bunk beds and the other has a sofa bed.
Standard (Classic) Rooms: These have tea/coffee making facilities, home-made biscuits, room service (restricted hours), phone, radio, TV, telephone, free wifi, and hair dryer. Two of them have sofa beds if more than two persons wish to share.
Small Doubles: These will be used as single rooms but there are only four of these.
Non-resident Dinner and Evening Entertainment:
If you would like to join us for dinner and the evening entertainment (plus daytime too if you wish) without accommodation at the hotel, this is available for £35 per person. Please email Martine or use the contact form.
Number of nights:
The principle days for our events will be the Friday and Saturday. But many of our guests like to come the day before (Thursday) to settle in and/or have an extra day after (Sunday) to chill out and visit places of interest in the area.

Coming Alone:
If you are coming alone, rather than select single occupancy, you might like to consider sharing a twin-bedded room with another. Not only will this save you the extra cost of single occupancy, many first-timers take this option as having a room mate can be very helpful. If you don’t have anyone in mind, we may be able to allocate someone.

Outings
We generally organise a group outing for Sunday and we will announce what we have planned later (suggestions welcome!).
For any of the days you might wish to do a local country walk. Walking maps and routes are available at reception.
Other places of interest in the area are: Chipping Campden (3.5 miles), Stratford-upon -Avon (9 miles), Bradway Tower (6 miles), Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre (11 miles), Charlecote Park National Trust (14 miles), and Snowshill Manor National Trust (9 miles).
There are two pubs in Mickleton. For those staying the Sunday night we suggest a group of us visits one of them to meet the locals during our last evening. Such evenings have been most enjoyable when we did similar at our events in the past.
Directions
By car: Set your sat nav to GL55 6SB. The full address is: Three Ways House Hotel, Mickleton, Gloucestershire, GL55 6SB
By Train: the nearest station is Honeybourne station which is 4 miles from the hotel. However this is a small station with limited stops and no facilities. You will need to book a taxi in advance as the station does not have a dedicated taxi rank. Other nearby stations include: Stratford uon Avon - 8.5 miles, Moreton in Marsh - 11 miles, and Warwick Parkway - 17 miles.
There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and a Village Community Bus called "The Hedgehog", but we doubt this would be a good option for anyone with lots of heavy baggage.
Testimonials
We have had lots of very positive comments about our previous events at the Dumbleton Hall Hotel. Here are just a few of the most recent unsolicited emails we have received:
I just wanted to thank you for all of your hard work organising the event this year. It’s the first time I have been to one of your events and I thought that it was an outstanding success. I hope that you will reserve me a space next year!!!
Everything was just perfect. Great hotel in lovely spacious grounds. The rooms were very well appointed with lots of hanging space ( we all bring a lot of outfits!). The meals were first rate and the staff were so efficient and friendly.
There was lots to see in the area and a good programme of events in the hotel. I enjoyed the swop shop and trade stands so much that I bought three pairs of shoes!
Thank you so much for an excellent four days dressing. It was just what I needed and met some great new friends.

What a wonderful few days for all of us who had the pleasure of being able to join you. On behalf of Tricia and myself, I would like to once again express our gratitude for the hard work that you and your little helpers put into making these things happen. We had the best of times and are looking forward to next years event already.

We wanted to say a huge thank you for the Dunbleton Days Event, it really was awesome, we had a fantastic time. Its difficult to put into words how much we enjoyed the event and wanted to thank you for the enormous amount of work you had put in to make it so very successful.
The hotel was superb and the food completely delicious and the staff outstanding. It was wonderful meeting up with old friends and making many new friends, particularly after so long with covid lock down.
Thank you again Martine, we had a really lovely time.
