The Rose’s event of the year

Details for 2024 will be posted here when available but at present we can neither give dates nor prices owing to uncertainties about when proposed refurbishment works to the hotel will take place. Martine has been organising events for the trans community since 1989 and this will be our fifth time at the Dumbleton Hall Hotel. Even before the forthcoming improvements, it is a truly magnificent traditional Manor House with fabulous interior features, set in 19 acres of stunning gardens, including woodland and a lake. It is situated in the beautiful Cotswold countryside just 7 miles from Evesham on the border between Worcestershire and Gloucestershire with the larger historic towns of Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Worcester all within 20miles.
Our previous events here have been in November and September but as explained above, this year it will be in July. The Monday and Tuesday will be our two core days when we have the majority of events and maximum attendance but many also like to join us for the night before and the day after.
Because the hotel is such a popular venue for weddings we are unable to hold our event over a weekend. However this event is very popular and we usually have a waiting list for rooms as we get nearer to the dates, so please book early to avoid dissappointment

Some of the above is subject to confirmation and the scheduling may vary. A full programme will be released nearer the date. We would appreciate any offers of anything you might be able to do to provide some sort of service or entertainment for our proceedings. A singer/pianist (there is a piano) would be most welcome.
Our dinners will be in the main banqueting room with large round tables. This room also has a dance floor and is where we will have our entertainment and disco. There will be a complimentary pre-dinner glass of Prosecco for each guest for the Monday and Tuesday evening dinners.
Dinner and Evening Entertainment Only:
If you would like to join us for dinner and the evening entertainment (plus daytime too if you wish) without accommodation at the hotel, this is available for £35 per person. Please email Martine or use the contact form.
Number of nights:
The principle days for our events will be the Monday and Tuesday. But many of our guests like to come the day before to settle in and/or have an extra day after to chill out and relax in the wonderful ambience of Dumbleton Hall and its grounds or visit places of interest in the area.

The total cost includes bed and breakfast, evening meals, entertainments (disco, performers, etc.), and administration charges.
The deposit (non-refundable) is payable upon booking.
The balance of payment must be paid by 7th May 2023. A reminder will be sent about two weeks before this date.
Up until 14th May 2023: The deposit amount is non-refundable but any additional payment before then will be refunded (e.g. if payment is made in full upon booking).
Between 15th May and 3rd July 2023: A partial refund (less deposit) may only be refundable if your place can be refilled.
After 3rd July 2023: Sorry we cannot make any refunds. But see important notes above.
Supplement per night
Single room: £10pn (but there are only two)
Single occupancy of a standard double room: £30pn
There are a limited number of rooms we can offer for single occupancy.
If you are coming alone, rather than select a single room or single occupancy, you might like to consider sharing a twin-bedded room with another. Not only will this save you the cost of the supplement, many first-timers take this option as having a room mate can be very helpful. If you don’t have anyone in mind, we may be able to allocate someone.
Room Types: supplements per room per night
All rooms are located on the first and second floors (lift available) and are en-suite with shower and/or bath. They all include complimentary toiletries, hospitality tray, internal and direct dial telephone, flatscreen TV and hairdryer.
Classic Rooms: these are larger than the standard rooms. There will be no supplement for these but subject to avialability.
Superior Rooms: £20pn double rooms or £30pn family rooms. These rooms have a high degree of comfort and elegant modern styling and also have an Espresso coffee maker, a mini-cooler with bottled water and executive toiletries.
Feature Rooms: £45pn & £55pn: There are just two feature rooms which are larger with a sitting area and one of them has a four-poster bed. They also have a safe.
